About

Advocacy does not involve the direct interaction between the homeless and HomeSafe Mission but rather advocates for the organization and its mission (including, but not limited to, student volunteers, volunteers, project organizers, and chapter hosts or members) to fundraise, create ideas, become involved in events, and educate themselves and others on the state of the homeless and their current situation. Advocacy provides a personal touch to HomeSafe Mission and is what drives all operations, allowing outside individuals to get involved. Advocacy and the "Education" portion of EMD are two separate sectors. Education focuses on educating both homeless individuals and youth audiences. Advocacy raises awareness about HomeSafe Mission's work and the homeless community.
